At the intake visit we develop an emergency plan together.  It includes the hospital of your preference, the hospital closest to you, your local ambulance service, your primary physician and pediatrician, emergency phone numbers and directions to your home.   In the event of a transfer to a hospital during labor, I will go with you to the hospital and stay as labor support.
